UNDER the 2011 Political Parties Act, Sh200 million per year will be shared among political parties. To qualify for funding, political parties have to get at least five percent of the vote in the national election. And in 2013 only three parties crossed that threshold- TNA with 30 percent, ODM with 26 percent and URP with 9 percent. Those three parties will share the cash on their own.
