After 23 years Azerbaijan represents a flourishing country where democratic aspirations of Azerbaijani people have been materialized as they continue diplomatic relations with the United States.

With a population of approximately 7,000, Khojaly was one of the largest urban settlements of the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
