President Obama is requesting $3.7 billion supplemental appropriation to deal with the crisis of unaccompanied minors crossing the US border. Most of the money would be used mainly by the Departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services; the rest would be utilized by the Department of State and the Department of Justice.
