Militants wearing military uniforms attacked a balloting center in a remote northern area and killed 10 guards, a senior police official said on Tuesday. The militants showed up at the polling center late Monday in Daqouq, a village outside the northern city of Kirkuk, saying they had come to carry out a search, the police said.
