America has consistently supported Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations, and when the Prime Minister [Garibashvili] visited Washington a couple of weeks ago, he made very clear to audiences in Washington that Georgia continues to aspire to Euro-Atlantic institutions.

There still seems to be misperception that this laboratory is a military facility or is engaged in biological weapons research which is absurd. The laboratory is now managed by the Georgian Government.
