<br />Guyana is a transit point for cocaine destined for North America, Europe, and the Caribbean. Direct shipments of narcotics to U.S. markets is minimal. The Government of Guyana (GOG) has, thus far, achieved few of the original goals of its National Drug Strategy Master Plan (NDSMP) for 2005-2009.
