U.S. Africa Command hosted more than 100 senior leaders from the Departments of State and Defense as well as the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to discuss how to align desired outcomes with U.S. foreign policy objectives, and develop a unified strategic approach to the African continent during a conference billed as the “Africa Strategic Dialogue” (ASD) held in Stuttgart, Germany, Feb 19-20.
