Uzbekistan is a key partner in supporting international efforts in Afghanistan. Uzbekistan has supported NATO troops in Afghanistan through provision of electricity, development of rail infrastructures and the NDN.

Uzbekistan is a key partner in supporting international efforts in Afghanistan but our relationship with Uzbekistan extends beyond security. Uzbekistan and the United States also cooperate on economic relations and civil and political issues.
