The government ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the accounts of people suspected of financially supporting militants, said Mudassir Shah, an FIA official. The FIA arrested 24 people involved in 18 cases of illegal hawala/hundi since January 2014, officials said at the meeting, adding that they arrested 270 suspected money launderers.
