The International Law Enforcement Agency (ILEA) in San Salvador began its first ever course on hate crimes in order to train 35 law enforcement officials from Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and El Salvador.

The design and construction of the bridge, located at the exit of San Vicente towards the Panamerican Highway, is valued at $4.9 million. This new bridge is part of the major transit route for sugar cane, a main export product of the country, and will benefit over 53,000 residents and the Salvadoran economy.

ILEA, celebrated the closing ceremony of the “Leadership Development Program” with participants from Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Uruguay and El Salvador. “The United States will continue to support our countries’ commitment to work together in order to provide improved security for our people,” said Ambassador Mari Carmen Aponte during her speech.
