Just last month, President Obama was at the Summit of the Americas in Panama waxing on about how we’ve “deepened our engagement in the Americas,” citing huge trade increases and so on. But with the annual Organization of American States’ General Assembly meeting scheduled in Washington on June 15-16, it seems there’s no U.S. ambassador to that body.
