The government ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the accounts of people suspected of financially supporting militants, said Mudassir Shah, an FIA official. The FIA arrested 24 people involved in 18 cases of illegal hawala/hundi since January 2014, officials said at the meeting, adding that they arrested 270 suspected money launderers.English

Bosnia's defense ministry says the country will donate small arms ammunition to Iraq to help the fight against Islamic State militants. The United States on Monday declared Venezuela a national security threat and ordered sanctions against seven officials from the oil-rich country in the worst bilateral diplomatic dispute since socialist President Nicolas Maduro took office in 2013. The Chilean Air Force (FACh) recently trained with the U.S. Air Force (USAF) on the best ways to use night vision goggles (NVG) in F-16 fighter jets. The training will strengthen the nighttime operations of the FACh. A team of three specialists from the 12th Air Force of the USAF traveled to Chile to train for four weeks with technical personnel from the FACh. The training focused on improving maintenance procedures and the correct use of NVG.English
