Border Service of Kyrgyzstan to receive equipment from BOMCA to reinforce borders

The official handover ceremony of equipment to the State Border Service from the EU-UNDP Border Management Programme in Central Asia will take place in Bishkek. Throughout the year the EU-UNDP BOMCA worked on the Border Reinforcement Project. The State Border Service received military and other equipment under the project. However, the main BOMCA's contribution into ensuring the country's border security is creation and introduction of the comprehensive border management system, which suggests application of new methods and ways of border protection.
