In an effort to steer them further away from Russia’s growing orbit, the United States plans to focus its aid to Europe and the former Soviet Union on Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, according to Daniel Rosenblum, the State Department's Coordinator of U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia.  The news came from a June 25th hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Committee's Subcommittee on Europe, Eurasia and Emerging Threats.
