"Senator McCain and I will offer a bill that will hinge U.S. foreign aid to Central American countries on their response to this situation, providing for refugee processing in those countries". Rep. Flake also holds that incentives for children to embark on the dangerous trip north still exist, given that the adminsitration is letting them stay with family members.

Currently, gift parcels sent by family members to other family members in Cuba cannot even contain clothing, hygiene kits, or medical supplies, and that is simply wrong. We shouldn't have that restriction. It should be lifted, if not completely, at least
