EVENT INFO

As digital technologies rapidly grow and the use of the Internet expands, so do the risks that accompany it. Cyber security capacity building efforts thus have become a priority, not only for governments, but also for the private sector and civil society around the world. These actors increasingly implement efforts to protect their security, but these efforts aren’t always effective or they don’t always ensure the protection of human rights. The briefing provides an insight into the context and objectives of the Global Cyber Security Capacity Centre and presents an overview of their lessons learned in 11 countries. Participants will also learn about U.S. efforts to strengthen cyber security efforts around the world. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn about strengthening cyber security!

This event will be under Chatham House rules.
